August 2020 report from Croatia

Youth Camp on the Coast

We went in early August with a few teens to the coast. God really blessed our time like never before. After a few days we felt very connected to them and this time we were able to talk with each of them in private.

Every day we had fellowship, lots of fun, some swimming, and devotionals. The last evening was very special. We went to the beach and we were singing Christian songs and celebrating our God. We ended the evening with words of affirmation for each other.

We believe that we should always see the best in each other and encourage each other. It was very deep and special. After that we went back to the Hostel where we had deep conversations with the teens.

That evening Igor sopke separately with the boys and Mateja with the girls.

They said that next year they want to invite their friends. One of our faithful teens, Lana, has already invited her friend to our youth group. Please pray for Hana. She has been coming to our Champs Camp as a child and now she is young lady and she is open to God.

Year-end report from our Philippines missions

2020 has been an extremely challenging year worldwide, and the Philippines is no exception.

A series of powerful earthquakes hit the southern Philippines during the last two weeks of October 2019.
The October earthquakes caused considerable damage in Southern Mindanao, which is home to several Cebu Bible College students and graduates. This region is also home to relatives of several CBC staff members who were impacted by this disaster.

CBC students and faculty began working in the disaster region during the year end break in December and early January, supported by Healing Hands International. We focused our disaster relief efforts on church members in the Kidapawan and Makilala areas of Southern Mindanao. A team of 12 CBC students and staff traveled to the region in mid-December and began to rebuild or repair the homes of 15 church member families and to help repair the facility of Southern Mindanao Bible College, a sister 2-year Bible college in the region which was heavily damaged in the earthquake.
